MEET POPPY ELDER

With two decades in the jewellery industry, I’ve developed a real passion for creating unique engagement rings. I love creating pieces that feel personal, meaningful, and completely unique. Jewellery has always been a part of my life; in the 1950s, my grandparents started a metal casting company, which became the foundation for my family’s journey into the jewellery industry. 

Growing up in Sutton Coldfield, I was a stones throw from the craft in The Jewellery Quarter, spending time in workshops and learning the intricacies of fine jewellery from an early age whilst earning pocket money in my school holidays!

As the third generation in my family’s business in The Jewellery Quarter, one of Europe’s largest independent jewellery manufacturers, I had the opportunity to learn every aspect of the industry firsthand. From understanding metal alloys and casting techniques to working with exquisite diamonds and rare gemstones, I developed a deep appreciation for the art behind every piece. 

Now, I bring that experience into every engagement ring I create, ensuring each one is crafted with expertise, individuality, and a truly personal touch.

A Love for Unusual Stones and Timeless Design

I’m naturally drawn to diamonds and sapphires with character, think unique cuts, rich colours, and one-of-a-kind inclusions that make each stone unlike any other. Pairing these with clean, timeless design is what defines my approach. It’s a balance of classic elegance with a personal twist, and it runs through my Signature Collection as well as every bespoke piece I create.

Jewellery marks some of the most important moments in our lives, and it’s a privilege to play a small part in those stories. My aim is always the same: to design something that feels like it belongs to you from the very beginning. Ethical sourcing is at the heart of my brand. I work with traceable diamonds, characterful sapphires and UK workshops, and use recycled packaging wherever possible. Every decision is considered with care, so your jewellery feels beautiful inside and out, with a positive story behind the materials and the making.
